Kitchen Remodeling Fort Lauderdale: Design & Build
Cabinets, Countertops & Complete Layout Design
Your Dream Kitchen Starts Here
Maybe it's the cramped layout. Maybe it's the outdated cabinets you've been staring at for years. Or maybe you just want a space where your family actually wants to gather.
Meltini Kitchen and Bath Designs specializes in custom kitchen design and construction for homeowners across Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. We've turned closed-off galley kitchens into open-concept spaces, replaced worn laminate with quartz and custom cabinetry, and helped hundreds of families create kitchens that work the way they live.
Kitchens are half of our name, and kitchen remodeling in Fort Lauderdale has been at the center of our work since 2004. Every project starts with questions, not catalogs: who cooks, how you entertain, and where the groceries land when you walk in. Your answers shape the layout, and the layout decides where the cabinets go, how much counter space you get, and whether the plumbing or a wall needs to move.
We handle every detail — layout planning, cabinet design, countertop fabrication, tile backsplashes, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance integration. One team from first sketch to final walkthrough. No finger-pointing between trades. No project managers who disappear.
Just a kitchen you'll actually love using.

What Our Clients Say

The Work Behind the Walls
A good-looking kitchen still lets you down if what's behind the walls is wrong. When we plan your remodel, we add dedicated circuits for modern appliances, move the water and drain lines when a sink goes into an island, vent the range hood properly, and layer the lighting — recessed, pendant and under-cabinet — so no one works in their own shadow.
How Your Custom Kitchen Comes to Life
We've streamlined our kitchen process to make your project smooth and stress-free. Here's how we take you from vision to reality:
Step 1: Consultation
We meet at your home to discuss your goals, walk through your current kitchen, and understand how you cook and entertain.
Step 2: Design & Selection
Our designers create a custom layout with your input. You'll see 3D renderings and visit our showroom to touch actual cabinets, countertops, and finishes.
We usually sketch two or three layout ideas first, then refine your favorite into the full 3D design, so you can compare options before you commit to one.
Step 3: Proposal & Scheduling
You receive a detailed proposal with transparent pricing and a realistic timeline. Your dedicated project manager coordinates everything from there.
Step 4: Construction
Our craftsmen handle demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, countertops, tile, and finishing — with your project manager on site daily.
The order matters in a kitchen: demolition and the new plumbing and wiring come first, then the cabinets are set, then the countertops are measured to the installed cabinets and fitted, followed by the backsplash, lighting and final trim.
Step 5: Final Walkthrough
We walk through your completed kitchen together and don't consider the job done until you're completely satisfied.

Completed Project 01 · Fort Lauderdale
Traditional Kitchen Remodel With a Contrasting Island
Completed by Meltini in the Fort Lauderdale area, this kitchen remodel pairs light raised-panel cabinetry with a contrasting green island, dark stone countertops, and stainless appliances. Full-height storage surrounds the refrigerator and cooking zone, while dedicated task lighting makes the work surfaces easier to use. A mosaic backsplash connects the cabinet, counter, and metal finishes. The finished room shows how a compact South Florida kitchen can gain storage, visual depth, and a more useful central preparation area without feeling crowded.
Completed Project 02 · Fort Lauderdale Area
Contemporary Kitchen Remodel With a Waterfall Island
This completed Fort Lauderdale-area kitchen renovation centers on an oversized white waterfall island with room for preparation, casual seating, and entertaining. We combined streamlined gray cabinetry with extensive pantry storage, glass-front display cabinets, integrated stainless appliances, and a patterned backsplash. The long island organizes the open room and creates a clear gathering point, while statement lighting and the darker flooring provide contrast. The project shows a contemporary kitchen that balances generous storage with the open, social layout many Broward County homeowners want.
Completed Project 03 · Fort Lauderdale Area
Open-Concept White Kitchen Renovation
Completed for a homeowner in the Fort Lauderdale area, this bright kitchen remodel uses white cabinetry, expansive countertops, stainless appliances, and a large central island to connect the cooking and dining areas. We added under-cabinet lighting, display storage, a statement range hood, and built-in wine storage while keeping sightlines open across the room. The combination of light finishes and uninterrupted work surfaces makes the kitchen feel larger and easier to use — a practical direction for South Florida homes where cooking, dining, and entertaining share one space.

Broward County's Trusted Kitchen Contractor
Whether you're in a single-family home, condo, or townhouse — if you're in South Florida, we'd love to help with your next kitchen project. Our skilled craftsmen fit every cabinet, countertop, and backsplash with precision, delivering a kitchen that lasts.
If you live in a condo, tell us about your association's rules at the consultation — work hours, deliveries, and what can change — and we'll build the plan and the schedule around them. We also choose materials with South Florida humidity in mind: cabinet finishes and countertops that stand up to wet hands, steam, and a kitchen that never fully cools off in August.
